Student Poster Session
Information for Attending the Poster Session
The poster session on Global Health Day will take place on a platform called Gather. The Gather app works best with Firefox or Chrome browsers.
1) Click on this link to join the poster session. (Gather will give you a short tutorial, and then you will be directed to the poster session.)
2) When you stand in front of a poster, a preview image will appear, and you can press the “X” key to open the poster.
3) You will be able to see and talk to the person who presents the poster. Don’t be shy! Feel free to ask questions and converse as you would at an in-person poster event.
4) You’ll also be able to engage in conversation with fellow attendees. If you stand next to someone, you will be able to start a one-on-one conversation. If you “sit” at one of the conversation tables, you will be able to chat with whoever is also sitting at that table.
