Evaluation of TB transmission in Uganda

Beginning in February 2019, we are conducting an intensive community-based intervention to find all cases of tuberculosis (TB) in a well-defined population of about 50,000 people in Kampala, Uganda. We will be performing a combination of door-to-door screening, household contact investigation, venue-based screening, and facility-based screening to identify previously undetected cases of TB. Further details about our broader consortium (the Uganda Tuberculosis Implementation Research Consortium) can be found at: https://www.u-tirc.org/
