China- Maternal Neonatal and Child Health Intervention Coverage Study
The China maternal newborn and child health (MNCH) internvetion coverage study aims to understand coverage level of key MNCH interventions in one county in Guizhou Province, China. The secondary aim is to assess women's ability to recall services received during antenatal, childbirth and postnatal service contacts. The study involves a household survey and a facility survey. Part of the household survey and the entire facility survey also form the validation study. In the facility survey, both medical record abstraction and health care provider survey will be conducted. The study will be implemented in three phases. The first phase will be the planning and preparation stage. In the second and the third phases, the household and facility surveys will be administered. Depending on feasibility, the two surveys may be conducted concurrently.
