Kia is earning an MA-MSPH in International Development and International Health Systems from Hopkins. Before school, she managed surgical programs across Sub-Saharan Africa for a medical non-profit. More recently, she has worked with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation on polio eradication and the Clinton Health Access Initiative on health systems strengthening, as well as done strategic consulting for a number of non-profit organizations. 

Kia Guarino will participate on the 2016 Johns Hopkins Team at the International Emory University Global Health Case Competition
