Dates

Start Date: 02/04/2011
End Date: 05/10/2011

This survey of JHSPH faculty will assess the degree to which internet-based social media and professional connectivity tools are currently being used among public health researchers in their professional practice. We will explore the characteristics associated with social media tool use, namely age, gender, position, department, time since terminal degree, etc. We will assess user perceptions about the utility, importance and benefits of social media in public health professional practice and compare platforms used for professional practice.
