The COMPASS Project will create an environment in which every Nigerian- parents, patent medicine vendors (PMVs), market women, factory owners, religious leaders--can be involved in learning, planning, and action to improve health and education in their community. The COMPASS Team consists of lead agency Pathfinder International, Nigerian partners include the Nigerian Medical Association, the Federation of Muslim Women''''s Associations of Nigeria, the Adolescent Health and Information Project, and the Civil Society Action Coalition on Education for All. International partners include Creative Associates International Inc., (a minority owned business), JHU/CCP, Management Sciences for Health, and The Futures Group International. JHU/CCP''''s efforts will focus on community mobilization, partnership-defined quality and communications for community support and technical interventions.
