Center for Public Health and Human Rights

The Center for Public Health and Human Rights (CPHHR) was established in April 2004 to examine the impact of human rights violations on the general health of populations through the application of epidemiological practices and other public health tools. CPPHR uses critical evidence-based assessments of the role that repressive laws and social discord play in the health of populations. It is involved in a number of activities in three primary areas of effort–education, research, and advocacy. CPHHR Website
