EDGE Network
About the Network
We have created a space for emerging leaders to connect on Slack, an online workspace and networking tool. Channels have been developed for members to discuss career transitions, share career resources, network, search for jobs, search for talent, and much more! If you aren't familiar with Slack, don't worry, we send a weekly email to all members with network updates and guides for navigating the workspace, as well as highlights from the week on Slack.
Join the Network
Click here to join the Slack workspace for career resources, networking, and more! If you have any questions please reach out to us at jhsph.ghgrants@jhu.edu.
If you are unfamiliar with the tool, reach out the EDGE team (Anna Kalbarczyk, Meagan Harrison, and Michelle Chung) once you join the network.
What Networks Mean to Us
Many leadership programs focus on the role of mentor/mentee relationships and seek to match and foster these. While mentorship can be critical for leaders, so too are networks - as the depth and breadth of a network can be leveraged for a wide range of needs, and rely less on the time and energy of single individuals. We seek to foster global networks for emerging leaders, starting with Slack, but always growing.
