Join the CUGH 2021 Scientific Program Advisory Committee

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 12th annual CUGH conference will be held online March 12-14th, 2021 with satellite sessions from around the world taking place between March 1-11th. CUGH felt that this would be the safest course in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic. The host institutions, which form CUGH 2021’s  Executive Planning Committee (EPC) are: Instituto Nacional de Salud Pública, Texas A&M University, University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, Texas Children’s Hospital, Tulane University, Rice University, and Baylor University.

CUGH is looking for 150 scientists across a range of biomedical and non-biomedical disciplines willing to join the conference’s Scientific Program Advisory Committee (SPAC).
SPAC members judge Abstract Submissions (review period November 15-December 15, 2020) and/or Panel Proposals (review period November 1-21, 2020). Reviewers should expect to assess 30 to 40 submissions, each up to 350 words in length.  If you can do this, please complete this SPAC simple survey by EOD Monday, August 31, 2020. Please encourage your colleagues to be a reviewer as well. All SPAC members will be acknowledged in the conference’s online program.

If you have any questions please contact Jenna Smith, CUGH’s Events and Membership Engagement Manager (1-202-974-6291 /  jsmith@cugh.org).
