2019 Global Health Travel Grant Winners Announced
The Johns Hopkins Center for Global Health recently announced the winners of both the Global Health Field Research Award and the Established Field Placement Award. This year, fifty-four students were awarded travel grants to support student research in over twenty countries. The objective of both programs is to enhance the recruitment of students into global health research and practice careers by providing them the means to work with faculty mentors and to travel overseas to gain valuable experience.
Consistent with the programs’ goal to support students in a wide range of disciplines necessary to respond to today's global health challenges, this group of awardees features students pursuing degrees in a variety of fields including Public Health, Nursing, and Medicine.
