Event Summary

Join us for the 11th annual CUGH Conference in Washington D.C. April 18-20, 2020 (with special satellite sessions on April 17).

The conference’s theme, ‘Global Health in a Time of Worldwide Political Change’, was selected to reflect the geopolitical shifts that are undermining the ability of the international community to address the threats we face. This is also a challenge that global health is ideally positioned to address. The interdisciplinary and international nature of our field captures the relationships, structures, and skills needed to face the complex threats before us. The meeting’s six program tracks or subthemes frame our program in a way that will attract biomedical and non-biomedical disciplines across academia, NGOs, government and the private sector. Please attend some of the outstanding satellite sessions on April 17 to learn about the latest research and activities that can be implemented in our home communities and countries.
Being in Washington DC, we anticipate attracting a range of political leaders from around the world who would be interested in sharing their views and collaborating with the nearly 2000 people we expect to be in attendance from over 50 countries.
