Jordan-The Jordan Learning Environment: Technical Support Program (LETS) Jordan-The Jordan Learning Environment: Technical Support Program (LETS)
The Jordan Learning Environment: Technical Support Program (LETS) is an exciting new 5-year program funded by USAID that focuses on advancing student achievement and well-being by improving learning environments. The student matched with this program will have a very full experience and will be involved in all elements of the project. This is a wonderful opportunity to work for a program that combines health communication and education. Led by Creative Associates, the program employs a whole school model to effect positive behavior change at multiple levels – from institutions to communities and schools. The program will work in 320 public schools across Jordan to promote positive learning environments by addressing social and behavioral issues that inhibit learning and teaching. First, the program will identify resources and needs in schools through general and school-specific assessments. Findings from these assessments will inform the development of initiatives that will increase awareness of, commitment to, and capacity for positive behavior change. The program will also design quality assurance and accreditation systems in order to measure progress toward establishing positive learning environments.
