Research to Prevention aims to strengthen the evidence base for effective HIV prevention programming in countries most affected by the HIV epidemic. The three interrelated objectives of the project are to: (1) conduct applied research and program evaluation to identify effective HIV prevention strategies; (2) promote the utilization of data in the design and mid-course modification of HIV prevention programs; and, (3) build capacity, both in applied research and in data utilization for improving programs and influencing policy.
