Metabolic Syndrome Risk Factors in Children and Adolescents

This is a population-based study to assess the risk factors of metabolic syndrome among 20,000 children and adolescents of Beijing. Our data will help us to develop diagnostic criteria for Chinese children. In addition, we will test intervention approaches for the prevention of metabolic syndrome.
