About Nina

Dr. Martin is an expert in immunology and science communication at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she also received a PhD in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology in the laboratory of Dr. Diane Griffin. At the Center for Global Health, Dr. Martin manages strategic communications, student grant programs and program evaluation. She is also an avid producer of science communication podcastsa TEDx speaker, and very committed to research on the science of science engagement, with a particular focus on engagement in low income settings.
